A Post is a message which is added to a topic on the GameFAQs forums. "Posting" is the act of making a post. Posts may include ordinary text (including a variety of ASCII characters) and a few basic html tags (including italics and bold).

Posts can be made for many purposes such as requesting help, giving help, trolling, bumping a topic, getting a Same-Time Post (STP), pushing a topic to 500 posts, or a combination of these.
